Cracks in the Earth - El Centro 2010
In the Spring of 2010, El Centro, Mexicali and parts of the Northern Gulf of California sustained a 7.2 Earthquake. I suspect I am camped directly beside that fault because I currently reside at “Sunbeam Lake RV Park.” The Lake was formed by damming a wash but in this last Earthquake, both ends were ruptured.
So, I’m guessing the pictures you see below are unique, unless you watched the Easter Sunday News in Yuma or San Diego (CBS and NBC). I sent these pictures in and they were shown on the 10:00 news.
Just as a note: All of these pictures were taken about 300 feet from where my Motorhome is parked.

I think the Slide Show is the best.

First the county thought everything was fine ... Then they closed the park. They say the dam won’t break but there’s a roadblock that stops me from getting Gas 1000 feet away and I have to drive 16 miles round trip to get there so they must be worried about something.
