Big Bend located on the US - Mexican border and is more accessible than some National Parks and there are camping locations along most dirt roads. The only requirement is that you register with the Park Rangers if you want to use one of the available primitive sites. Despite what you may hear about the border on the news, Big Bed is a very safe and secure park.
